A direct sequel to Flintloque, Frontear is a fantasy skirmish ruleset by Alternative Armies which is loosely based on a variety of settings including the American Civil War and the Wild West. Set in the established fantasty world of Valon it features many fantasy races such as Orcs, Dwarves and Elves fighting out battles with 18th and 19th century weaponry on the Amerkan continent. The core game system uses the D10 system established in Flintloque. The rules (which include more than sixty pages of background, a full skirmish rule system, three starter scenarios and a whole lot more besides) can be purchased from the Alternative Armies website either as a stand alone rulebook or as a boxed set with miniatures. |
