The Husarenkorps is a Hunvarian Ogre Cavalry Regiment with a difference, at present its mounts exist only on paper, in reality it is composed entirely of infantry. This situation came about for several reasons, the first of which being the terrible losses sustained by the Korps in the Witchlands and the second being the scarcity of Diberian black bears. The Diberian bear is a strong animal and can ‘bear’ the weight of an Ogre upon his back with little hindrance and unlike a rhino they are perfect for scouting and snowy terrain. The Undead also have a liking for this mount and have zombified many to add to their ranks, it was this that led to the almost total demise of the mounted Husarenkorps. Oskar Leibschnitz has suffered as much as any other Ferach Officer who was part of the Grande Armée that marched on Moskova but unlike many others he managed, along with some of his fellows, to escape the Star Wraith. Presently his location is unknown to Hunvaria and it is thought that he may be in Aegypt or indeed Krautia continuing his battle against the Alliance. Now a Major, Oskar commands a small section of hand picked troops, a rather rag tag band, all skilled in the arts of war. He puts his survival down to his leadership qualities and the fact that he never abandons a comrade to the enemy, meaning his troops are very loyal to him. Flintloque Rules Major Leibschnitz can be used to command any Ferach Light Infantry unit and costs 47 points unless otherwise equipped from that given below. He is a Experienced/ Elite Ogre armed with a sword and a captured Orc Artillery Pistol taken from a dead Bog Orc in Moskova. Heroic - Oskar is heroic and leads from the front, resultantly all Ferach models within 20cm of him have an additional +1 to morale. Idealistic - Oskar is a very idealistic officer to this end he will never leave a wounded comrade behind. A wounded Ferach model in a scenario (except Oskar) can once per scenario re-roll any personal Morale test, but they have to accept the new result. Slaughterloo Rules Major Leibschnitz can be used to command any Ferach Light Infantry Unit in Slaughterloo at a cost of 40 points. He counts as a Heroic Officer. Due to his concern for the wellbeing of his troops his unit gains a plus 1 to its Morale. Uniform Guide Flesh: Swarthy
