In the terror of the Witchlands even the finest units lose valuable men and material, the Corps Imperial des Dragons is no exception. Under the Emperor’s favourite, Colonel Gui De Carcharoth, the wolf skin clad killers are now assisted by the ruthless Adrienne St Bane. An extensively travelled Officer he developed his murderous streak in Aegypt against the Othari, where some say that the often-independent missions he undertook affected his powers of reason. Returning to Catalucia on Mordred’s own frigate he was blackmailed by the treacherous La Spiga over the wife of a high-ranking Elf officer. That Catalucian temptress almost cost him his life when he murdered the officer and was arrested. After a narrow escape from the guillotine of Lyonesse, St Bane has travelled to the smashed Grande Armée and the embrace of the Corps Imperial. Knowing the failings of powder and musket in the frozen lands of the Undead this veteran uses his sabre and throwing daggers with deadly skill; behind his brass rimmed spectacles are ‘the dead eyes of an executioner.'
