The War in Ostaria Escalates !
Eldril DuPutti reporting. Battle of Terrierblitz. Reports are in that a full scale engagement took place yesterday between the Ferach advance guard, (personally led by our glorious Emperor) and a combined Dogman/Krautian army rumoured to have been commanded by Emperor Klaffenhund himself. The battle supposedly opened at daybreak with a rapid advance led by Marshal Sault. His battered troopers were reinforced by a fresh unit of Hunvarian Ogres which quickly took the Dwarf division by surprise. The Krautian dwarves were still in their march columns and their artillery still limbered when our brave elves descended upon them. A determined charge by their lancers slowed our glorious attack but did little to stop our Ferach heroes. Our brave Ogre allies added to the carnage by routing the nefarious Krautian Guard. The Dog Division quickly formed a line of battle to try to rescue and tried to outflank Marshal Lammes division with their Cuirassiers and Grenadiers. The L'Espirit Du Garde bravely ran away from this onslaught after Col L'Escargot was wounded. As our brave heavy cavalry, representative of our gallant knights of old, fooled the dog cavalry to give chase. Our Garde Lanciers, led by the impetious Major Huger de Bleede', stormed into the gap between Dwarf and Dog. Slaughtering the Dog Chasseurs, Artillery, and giving chase to the dog line infantry. The dog infantry inflicted great loss on our Elven brethren until they took to flight. With the dogs and reportedly Klaffenhund in flight, General Bengo Von Spoote wounded, and their cuirassiers halted from a wall of square formations. The Dwarves withdrew, their lines mauled but not broken. The Emperor has now reportedly skilfully eluded a reinforced Dog/Dwarf army and is now massing near the village of Osterlitz. +++ New Brigade Forming !

Hyman Treesprint reporting. The Formidable Dwarf fortress of Karak Bjorn fell last week to our glorious army. Commander Von Raucher knew an attack was coming and he surrounded the fort with a line of earthworks. The fort sat high upon Blackrock hill and for centuries has been the dwarf stronghold that has protected them from dog raiders. Col. Piere Seminus led a full battalion in an assault of the fortification, comprised of Ferach, Hunvarian Ogres, and Confederation Dwarves. Our brave soldiers withered blizzard of grapeshotte in their advance. All seemed lost as the casualties mounted until a wounded Baron Von Rotte assisted by a few Ogre Stragglers broke the Krautian line mostly held by numerous landwehr units. The Baron personally captured the colours of the 13th Silezian Landwehr killing or wounding the color party. The Velite Guard Grenadiers led by Lt Col. Horgante Elanas and Captain Elthain Ludlou stormed over the works and up the steep hill to the fortress. The Krautians seeing thier defeat fled, Commander Von Raucher killing a few in an attempt to turn them around but all was lost. If winter had not set in the campaign and complete defeat of Krautia would have been achieved. +++ Morgana Undressed An Armorican art dealer has made a claim that in the royal art collection is nude paintings of our hated previous ruler. This Dealer, a certain Todoroni called Raffiel Montogotti, say 14 images of our previous Empress have been discovered. If true it shows the true degraded condition of our empire before our Glorious Emperor's ascension to the throne. They clearly show a ruler whose impure conduct and help near destroy our Empire... +++ Morgana Denies Claims A spokesperson for deposed ruler Morgana in a press conference in Ostaria has denied all existance of nude portraits in the royal holdings. He claimed they are lies and possible forgeries created to undermine her legitimate claim to the Peacock Throne. The Emperor's personal historian says other wise, quoting for an ancient text..."She was young and needed the Money... the Armorican economy was skirting recession and she did not want to lower interest rates..."
