These Riders from the desert sit atop their notoriously foul tempered camels and look down on the world. Some of the tallest Cavalry on Valon these Lancers are good Warriors and while more at home guarding trading caravans they can prove decisive. Riders are always in white so that they are not stepped on! The Lancers carry very long lances that are able to pierce a foe at a greater distance than would be possible on a horse. Although these warriors are nomadic and spend much of their time both guarding and raiding trade caravans they can prove decisive in the fast manoeuvre required in Aegyptian battle. Often riding far ahead of the van of the army the Othari Jeziel act primarily as skirmishers picking off Officers and Cannon Crew with a thunderous crack. Picking off the enemy with their long barrelled Matchloques these Riders are a lonesome breed preferring to be alone. Balancing their weapon on the head of the camel to aim these units are used as Skirmishers and Ambushers on the field. Riders dress in sombre colours and muffle their equipment to remain invisible in the black night. The Camels of the Sultan of the Othari of Aegypt.
