Guarda Real da Polissa - The Royal Police Gaurd of Lisabone
The Guarda Real da Polissa is termed a Police Unit. Indeed, its very formation during the reforms that swept through Al-Garvey was due to a strong feeling that the Goblin capital Lisabone was under direct threat from Ferach Forces.
Note though: The Guarda Real da Polissa conducts itself in the manner of a Line Regiment. It should be treated as a Line Regiment in the armed forces of the Goblins rather than as any of the official (and unofficial) militias and night watches that patrol the paved roads of Lisabone. Should there be an assault on Lisabone, the Polissa will assume the garrison of the city to maintain its security, protecting the docks and key residences of the Regent Don Jon. Older Goblins in the Polissa are regularly left behind in the capital, or posted to the smaller Polissa that guard the town of Noportoe. They watch for ‘ de suspicious personas’ or make the traditional thrice repeated Polissa greeting of ‘Ello, Ello, Ello’ upon the passing of any citizen enquiring of them ‘justa what’sa gonna ona ’ere then?’.
Armed with Goblin Muskets the Polissa are treated as Regular Line Infantry. Stats for use in Slaughterloo
