Reports have come in of increased fighting on the Kartoffelburg front.
Speaking from the Finklestein capital, Mordredsheim, a spokesman for Prince Alburt confirmed reports of a planned Finklestein offensive into Krautia. Quoting the Prince, He said "It's time to teach the Kaiser a lesson about war".
Alburt Advances
Under the command of Marshal Beaugeste, the Finklestein Army has grown in size and capability. Prince Alburt has formed a close relationship with the Ferach Marshal and is his key adviser on Krautian affairs. It is well known that Prince Alburt, who hails from a proud Dwarven family, is eager to restore his family name to the iomportance it held before Artur came to power. His dislike for the Dwarf kaiser was no secret even before the Confederation of the Rhine broke away from the Krautian League. This latest offensive provides the opportunity that Alburt has been looking for to strike back at his old enemy. It has yet to be confirmed whether Alburt himself will be leading the Finlestein Army in to Krautia. What is known is that the Finklestein Dwarves will be aided by their fellow confederation allies including units of Dogs and Ogres.
Artur Prepares
Although unwilling to make a public comment, it is known that the Krautian Command are taking the rumours of a Finklestein invasion seriously with updates given to Artur daily.
